Criteria for admission to the People's
Dental College are set up in accordance with
the rules and regulations formulated by T.U.
& Nepal Medical Council, and admission is
made accordingly, irrespective of
nationality, caste, creed, origin or color.
Candidates who want to enroll in the B.D.S.
programme, both citizens or non-citizens,
residents or non-residents, have to fulfill
the criteria and the respective requirements
as mentioned below.
Students belonging to Biology group, should
have passed their Intermediate in Science or
Proficiency Certificate Level (P.C.L) or
10+2 or equivalent from recognized and
accredited colleges and pre-universities in
their respective native countries. In
addition, the certificate should correspond
to the equivalence or Tribhuvan University
criteria.
Students must have a minimum of 50% marks
obtained in their major subjects in
aggregate marks. However, students who
possess added skills and other potentials
during the entrance examination will be or
may be considered eligible.
Students must be at least 17 years of age
and should not have crossed 25 years of age
on the date of their enrollment. Any
application without the fulfillment of these
criteria will be considered invalid, and no
such application will be entertained
further.
The students while submitting Admission Form
are required to submit test reports of Hbs
Ag, HIV & Blood Grouping along with a health
certificate from the Lab and Doctyor
endorsed by the institution.
1. M. B. Kedia Dental College will provide
an application form and a copy of the
prospectus from the
office, on payment of Rs. 500/-, which is non-refundable.
2.The prospectus and application form may be
obtained in person, or by sending a written
application enclosing the payment and self-addressed envelope.
3.The application form, complete in all
respects should be sent to Admission Officer
of the College,
Birgunj, Nepal.
4.A non-refundable fee of Rs. 2000 should be
paid at the time of submission of the
application
form for the entrance examination.
5.The students while submitting Admission
Form are required to submit test reports of
Hbs Ag, HIV
& Blood Grouping along with a health certificate from the Lab and Doctor
endorsed by the
institution.
All the particulars in the
application form must be written
carefully and legibly. Applications,
which are incomplete in required
particulars or enclosure, will not
be considered.
The application form should be accompanied
by following documents
1. Duly filled admission form issued from
the college.
2. Three recent P.P size photograph.
3. Duly attested photocopy of mark sheet of
school level to intermediate / graduate
level.
4. Migration certificate (True copy)
5. Certified copy of citizenship.
6. A certified photocopy of matriculation /
secondary school or s.l.c. certificate
issued by the board
schooling the date of birth of the candidate.
7. Any candidate found to have furnished
false information or certificate or have
concealed some
information in his/her application shall be withheld from
admission.
8. If any student gets admission by
producing false documents his/her admission
will be cancelled
once the truth is known and all payment made will be
confiscated.
9. Candidates should submit only attested
photocopy of documents at the time of
submission of
application and original should be submitted at the time of
admission.
All the applications who are found eligible
will be required to appear at the Entrance
Examination to be conducted by the IOM.
Admission will be made entirely on merit
basis through the written Entrance
Examination.
